A Suffolk chocolatier is celebrating after receiving a whopping 12 wins in an international chocolate competition.
Pump Street Bakery and Chocolate was founded by father-and-daughter team Chris and Joanna Brennan in 2010 and has grown exponentially in popularity both across Suffolk, the UK and the world.
In April 2023, the family business became the proud recipient of a King’s Award for International Trade following huge growth in its overseas trade.
Now, Pump Street has announced that it has been recognised a total of 12 times in the Academy of Chocolate 2023 awards.
"We are thrilled to be jumping into 2024 with the incredible news that every one of the twelve chocolates we submitted to the esteemed Academy of Chocolate 2023 awards has been met with recognition in their respective categories," read the announcement.
Winning a gold award was the Togo 44% Swiss Milk Chocolate bar, with three other bars recognised in the silver category, six in the bronze, with two further bars highly commended.
Pump Street Chocolate can be purchased from the bakery in Orford, in select retailers around the county and online at pumpstreetchocolate.com.
