A Suffolk-based police officer is set to appear in court after being charged multiple offences.
Russell Hinkins, 43, of Haverhill, served as an officer for Essex Police before being arrested in August 2022.
Hinkins has been charged with three offences following an internal investigation, including misconduct in a public office, securing unauthorised access to material and disclosing information without consent.
He is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 9.
