There is a chance snow could fall on parts of Suffolk today.
According to the Met Office, temperatures are set to plunge creating a chance of wintry showers on Monday.
A cold weather alert has been issued by the UK Health Security Agency which is in place for the whole of the county until Friday.
Colder temperatures are set to hit Suffolk from the weekend, with overnight temperatures set to hit as low as -4C on Monday evening.
The elderly and people with underlying health conditions have been urged to keep their heating on to at least 18C, while people are being advised to stay warm and look out for those who are most vulnerable in cold conditions.
