A café that reopened under new management in August last year has now celebrated an amazing first few months by extending the opening hours.
Lucy Decker and Mat McCarthy, along with their pet pooch Paddy, took over The Milk Shed Café in Sproughton from Clare and Scott Forrest in the summer.
Now, just over four months later, the new owners have built up enough of a following to open the café seven days a week.
"We realised that everywhere independent is closed on a Monday," said Ms Decker.
"Working in hospitality, I have always had Mondays off and struggled to find anywhere to go for a coffee.
"Mat and I tend to work at The Milk Shed on a Tuesday when the café is closed and we always have people coming to the door and asking whether we are open."
The café has continued to grow in popularity too, which helps make a longer working week a viable option.
"It has definitely been the first few months that we hoped for," said Ms Decker.
"We feel properly settled in and know our customers well now.
"We've been here for four months and already learned tonnes, so hopefully we can push forward and continue expanding what we do here."

Opening every day of the week could also help the couple grow their food and evening offerings as they add further staff members to their kitchen team.
"Mat will have more time to be creative with the menu," explained Ms Decker.
"We might be able to do something a little bit different as we add to the kitchen staff."
The café has an alcohol licence and permission to stay open until 10pm - two assets that the owners are looking to explore further this year.
"We would quite like to start offering the café for private hire and bigger events," said Ms Decker.
"It would be great to offer more restaurant-style food as Mat has always been a chef, so it would be good for him to step out of the café options that we are offering at the moment.
"We have a large outdoor area too which will be ideal for barbecues and evening events in the summer."
Evening events could start at The Milk Shed as early as Valentine's Day, with the couple exploring options for a ticketed meal that night.
The café used to specialise in Scandinavian-style food, with a décor to match, but Ms Decker and Mr McCarthy have been adding their own stamp to the menu.
"We've kept the décor the same," said Ms Decker.
"We tried to keep key items from the menu too, and still have the sweet potato rosti and Nordic waffles for people to order.
"Sadly, unlike the previous owners, we just don't have links to that part of the world, and people weren't really ordering the more Scandinavian-style dishes."
Customers will be able to order classic dishes, including a full English breakfast, with as much good local food and produce as Ms Decker and Mr McCarthy can get their hands on.
The café is dog-friendly and even runs a dog menu for the furry visitors to the site.
Paddy still pays regular visits to the site for those hoping to meet him.
The café will be open seven days a week from Monday, January 8, from 9am to 3pm.
