An emergency road closure was put in place on the A12 after serious flooding.
Suffolk police were called to the main road near Yoxford this morning (January 2).

Kevin Peek who helped with the clear up said the road had to be closed due to water coming off a nearby field and filling up a ditch next to the road which overflowed onto the A12.
Drivers are being told to take extra care when travelling in the area as there is still some surface water on the road.
The emergency road closure was lifted at 6am.
The weather warning covers the whole of the county and winds of up to 70mph are expected to hit parts of the region on Tuesday.
The warning states that there is a good chance that power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage.
A number of roads across the county have become flooded today as a result of heavy rainfall.
People are being encouraged to avoid the often-submerged Potters Bridge along the B1127, near Southwold.
The road was left almost impassable after a night of heavy rainfall.
The road first became flooded on Sunday and has remain closed since.
Work to fix the issue is currently ongoing.
Colchester Road on the outskirts of Bures has been flooded for a number of weeks with drivers struggling to pass through the road.
After the torrential rainfall overnight the road is now almost impassable.
Drivers are also being warned of the potholes that are covering the road just after the flooding.
