A petition has been launched calling for a residential road to be widened to reduce the risk of accidents and improve the safety of schoolchildren.
Woodbridge resident Amy White is seeking support on the change.org petitions website for improvements to Peterhouse Crescent.
The road is roughly oval in shape and surrounds an area of grass, but the verges on the grass have become worn and bare apparently due to vehicles having to drive on to the grass because of the narrow road.

She said there was a particular safety risk during "peak hours" when children were coming and going from school because motorists found it difficult to pass each other in their vehicles.
She added a wider road would also enable the traffic to flow more smoothly and reduce the amount of congestion.
Saying it was "high time the issue was addressed", she added: "We urge local authorities in Woodbridge to take immediate action - not only by repairing, but also widening this crucial stretch of road.

"This is not just about convenience; it's about ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all residents who use this route daily.
"Please sign this petition if you believe in creating a safer environment for our children and a better living condition for all residents in Woodbridge."
She cited data from the Department of Transport which showed that poorly maintained roads contributed significantly to accidents each year.

"I have been a resident of Woodbridge for over eight years, witnessing first hand the deteriorating condition of the road between Peterhouse Crescent and our local green space.
"The current state of this road poses significant safety risks to residents, particularly children travelling to school. It is high time we address this issue urgently," she said.
So far, the petition has collected 32 signatures.
