The new landlords of a much-loved village pub near Sudbury have been announced.
It was revealed earlier this year that the current tenants of The Swan in Long Melford would be leaving the pub.
Bury St Edmunds brewery Greene King launched a search to find new landlords, and confirmed last month it had found a successor to take over the pub.
The incoming tenants have been revealed as Gary Addison and his wife, Ashley, who currently run The White Horse in Sudbury.
Writing on social media, a spokesman for the pub said: "We would like to announce that we will be taking over the reins at The Swan in Long Melford.
"We are very excited yet cautious for our new and additional venture alongside The White Horse."
Greene King, which leases pubs across Suffolk and the rest of the country, has revealed the pub will reopen in late January or early February.
The current tenants of the Long Melford pub are to reopen The Great House in Lavenham, which has been shut since September 2022.
