Hospital patients have received an early Christmas present thanks to the generosity of staff and residents at a Bungay care home.
Bungay House Care Home’s staff and residents wanted to make a positive difference to the welfare of inpatients and spread a little early Christmas cheer so set about fundraising for DAB radios to donate to ward 18 of the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston.
After successful fundraising, Chloe Barber, deputy manager from Bungay House, and Darren Buckworth, director of Saturn Healthcare Ltd, visited the hospital to hand over ten DAB radios for patients to use.
