The A14 has reopened after a serious crash closed a stretch of the road for nine hours.
Suffolk police were called to reports of a single-vehicle crash at 12.25am today on the A14 heading westbound between junctions 45 for Blackthorpe and 44 for Bury St Edmunds.
The scene is now clear and all lanes have re-opened on the #A14 in #Suffolk westbound between J45 (#Blackthorpe) and J44 (#BuryStEdmunds) following a serious collision.

The ambulance and fire service were also in attendance.
Police were conducting investigations into the incident this morning and clearing the road, which has now been reopened after a nine-hour closure.
Traffic is no longer queuing in the area.
