The owner of a new store selling sweets and baked goods in a Suffolk market town has said opening his second shop was his dream 'for the longest time'.
Dinky Treats, which already has one location at Stour Valley Business Park in Ballingdon, opened its doors in King Street, Sudbury, on December 15.
The store sells a range of sweet and savory treats, including cakes, cheesecakes, hot sausage rolls and sandwich meal deals.
Owner Kris Daly said: "This is our second shop now so we have one running on the business centre and this one running in the town centre.
"It was basically born in Covid I suppose. I had a gaming lounge and we had a small snack shop on the side, that is where the name 'Dinky Treats' came from as it was a small treat shop, and it kind of blossomed into the monster that it is now.
"At the moment it is very very stressful and it is a massive, massive financial gamble, but we're in the town centre so this is what we have wanted to do for the longest time, so we are just kind of hoping that it works and that each shop grows with their own strengths and weaknesses.
"It was been exciting, and a great venture."

Mr Daly said the response for the King Street store has been 'massive' and added that he hopes to build his presence in the town centre over the coming weeks and months.
This weekend will see the shop fully stocked with pick-n-mix, waffles and milkshakes on offer, as well as the typical cakes, hot and cold savory items, coffee and baked treats.
Sweet fans can also order sweets and cake boxes on the Dinky Treats website.
