Several towns and villages in north Suffolk are set to be hit by strong winds as a weather warning has been issued by the Met Office.
On Thursday, December 21, most of the UK will be hit by winds, with a yellow weather warning in place from the early hours to 11.59pm.
Towns including Mildenhall, Newmarket, Eye, Stowmarket, Halesworth Southwold and Bury St Edmunds will be hit by the winds.
The Met Office has warned that travel times by car, rail or ferry may be affected, with some cancellations possible.
Power cuts may also happen around the affected region, which may cause issues with phone signals.
There is a small chance that injuries and "danger to life", the Met Office said, and could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and homes.
People have been warned of flying debris, which could be dangerous.
This comes after significant flooding along the A12 last week following heavy rainfall during Storm Fergus.
People are encouraged to secure loose items, including bins and garden furniture.
Those in the area are also asked to avoid going out as far as possible.
