The A12 has flooded in east Suffolk after heavy rainfall overnight.
Drivers reported that the major route had become almost impassable in Yoxford on Tuesday morning.
Cars can be seen attempting to make their way through the flood water slowly as they try to continue with their journey.
It follows a night of heavy downpours in Suffolk.
Suffolk Highways has confirmed they have shut the road.
"Due to surface water flooding, an emergency road closure has been installed along A12 Yoxford near to the junction of A1120," a spokesman said on social media.
"Tankers will be attending as soon as possible to try and clear the standing water."
