The following night will see podcast host and comedian Matt Forde perform at the theatre.
Mark Watson will take to the stage on February 9, while Olivier award winning play 'Showstopper!' is to commence on February 10 and 11.
The town's Fat Cat Comedy Club will also welcome Chris McCausland for two nights at The Apex, as well as other names from the national circuit.
The month-long festival will be rounded off by Tom Davis on February 24 and a 'Royally Funny Comedy Night' on February 28.
