No decision has yet been made on a possible solution to campervans parking on a Felixstowe seafront road, which have sparked concerns about congestion.
Suffolk County Council's Highways team has been looking into the practicalities and cost of three options to deal with vehicles parking in Undercliff Road East in the resort before reporting the findings to Felixstowe Town Council and East Suffolk Council.
However, as yet the town and district councils have not chosen an option following complaints about camper vans parking on kerbs and not leaving enough space for pedestrians to get through.

Another issue has been vehicle owners putting tables and chairs on the promenade.
In the summer months, Undercliff Road East is used by many campervan owners staying in the town.
But there has been some concern over the presence of the vehicles clogging up the road.
The options being considered over the matter include introducing a size-based restriction on vehicles using the road, time-limited free parking during the day or restrictions on overnight stays.
Once a decision has been made, the county council will then make a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO), which is a legal order made by local authorities to restrict or prohibit the use of roads.

A Suffolk County Council spokesperson said: "Once a decision has been reached between Felixstowe Town Council and East Suffolk Council and assuming that it is acceptable to the local county councillor, Suffolk County Council can then process a TRO subject to agreeing where this can be funded from."
In August, this newspaper reported how Felixstowe mayor Seamus Bennett hoped that the town council would be able to make a decision on its preferred measure "by the end of the year".
However, he ruled out introducing parking meters, saying that the town had a tradition of free parking and did not want to discourage visitors.
In September, the Felixstowe branch of the Labour Party proposed reallocating parking spaces along Undercliff Road East by marking out bays according to car size.
