The main route into a Suffolk town was blocked by a fallen tree.
The A134 between Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury was impassable after a tree fell down near to the Rushbrook Arms on Saturday afternoon.
A weather warning for strong winds had been issued by the Met Office for Saturday.
The weather warning was in place between 9am and 11.45pm.
Drivers were being urged to find alternative routes.
