A restaurant in a Suffolk village has announced it will change ownership.

Lucy's Pizzeria, in Fornham All Saints near Bury St Edmunds, has become a prominent part of the community since it first opened in 2019. 

However, the eatery has announced it will be closing its doors later this month ahead of a change in ownership.

"I am incredibly proud of the special little gem we've created, and I'll always treasure the unwavering support of our customers, which has been the backbone of our success," said a statement on social media.

"Thank you for being a part of our journey, and we hope to see you in the coming weeks before our last day of service on December 23." 

It is unclear what the restaurant will be next.
