Woodbridge in east Suffolk has been named among the happiest places to live in the UK in 2023.
More than 26,000 people living in the country completed a survey by the property website Rightmove asking how they feel about where they live.
According to Rightmove the results of this year's study showed that the most important contributors to happiness were feeling a sense of pride, belonging and community.

Woodbridge was chosen as the happiest place to live in Suffolk and ranked 17th on the overall list of happiest places to live in the UK.
In the East of England, Woodbridge was ranked as the fourth happiest place to live having been beaten by Hemel Hempstead, Leigh-on-Sea, and Clacton.
The survey also revealed that those living in a rural area near a national park, or an area of outstanding beauty, were also more likely to feel happy where they live.
Richmond upon Thames in London was crowned the happiest place to live in the UK, with the city of Winchester in second and Monmouth in Wales taking third place.
