A pub in Suffolk is set to have its renewed plans for four houses, two bed and breakfast rooms, new toilets and alterations to the car park discussed, 11 months on from planning refusal.
Babergh District Council's planning committee are to discuss plans to make changes to The Red Lion pub in East Bergholt.
The plans also included alterations to the car park, owned by the pub but leased to East Bergholt Parish Council to use as a free car park, as well as the demolition of the existing toilets and the build of replacement ones.
In January, owner of the Red Lion Jonathan Peachey said he was "very disappointed" with the decision of the council.

Now, the renewed plans, which includes just four houses, a storage building with two bed and breakfast rooms, new toilets and changes to the car park, are to be discussed next week with it being recommended that planning permission is granted with conditions.
The Parish Council however has again objected to the plans, stating that 'no local housing need is evidenced and there is none to be met' and that the proposals are 'contrary to many Neighbourhood Plan policies'.
Six letters, emails and online comments have been received in relation to the plans, with just two objections, and four in support.
Reasons for support include smaller houses for elderly people in the village wishing to downsize, much needed re-building of the public toilets and additional bed and breakfast rooms adding additional revenue to the pub.
The application is recommended for approval, as long as the B&B and storage building are tied to the pub, as well as Highways, landscape, ecology, heritage, archaeology and environmental protection conditions are followed.
