A woman has been taken to Ipswich hospital after she was hit by a car in Felixstowe.
Suffolk police confirmed that they were called at around 11.25am today to support the East of England Ambulance Service after a female pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Crescent Road in the town.

The incident is believed to have happened near the junction with Tomline Road.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said that the woman was taken to hospital after being assessed by the ambulance crews that attended the scene.
The East of England Ambulance Service confirmed that one road ambulance was sent to the scene of the crash.
The woman is being treated in Ipswich Hospital.
