Plans for a large development including 80 homes, a preschool facility and a car park in a Suffolk village are to be discussed this week.
Mid Suffolk District Council planning committee are to discuss an outline planning application for a new residential development on land south of Mill Lane in Stradbroke.
The plans include up to 80 new homes, including affordable ones, a provision of a new school car park and bus drop-off area, land for a new preschool facility, public open space, upgrades to Mill Lane and other associated works.
Among the commenters is Stradbroke Parish Council which supports the application and has recommended that Mid Suffolk Council grant permission.
They stated that the land that will be made available with the development is 'crucial to a new facility being built to ensure adequate provision is available' after the previous nursery closed in July 2022.
The plans are being recommended for approval, and are to be discussed on Wednesday, December 6.
