A teenage boy has been arrested after reportedly making threats to pupils outside of a school in a Suffolk town.
Officers were called to the incident in Exning Road in Newmarket at just after 9am on Tuesday.
The boy was allegedly acting in a threatening manner to pupils, while another teenager is believed to have been pushed.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said: "A teenage boy was arrested on suspicion of theft from shop, assault and public order – fear/provocation of violence.
"He was taken to Bury St Edmunds police investigation centre for questioning, where he remains."
