A photography studio in west Suffolk has been forced to close its doors at the end of the year due to rising costs.
John Martyn opened Guildhall Studio in Bury St Edmunds more than three years ago as a place to showcase his own photography work as well as a space to highlight local artists.
"It's been a really good three years," said Mr Martyn, "but over the last six months costs have been increasing so I can't keep the studio open."

Currently, there are two exhibitions at the studio showcasing work by Tom Crittenden and Weina Xu Penhaligan.
"The general reaction from the public has been 'oh gosh that's sad'," said Mr Martyn.
"There are other art studios in Bury but we are the only photo gallery."

Mr Martyn will continue to work on and sell his own photography after the studio closes.
"If we get the opportunity to do pop-ups then that is what we'll do."
Guildhall Studio will close on Sunday, December 31.
