A yellow weather warning has been issued for snow and ice across Suffolk this week.
The Met Office has said the warning will come into place at 5pm on Thursday, November 30 until 11am on Friday, December 1.
Temperatures could drop as low as -4C in parts of the county.
The weather warning is in place for the majority of Suffolk, although western parts of the county including Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket are not included.
Further wintry showers expected over the next few days could lead to icy patches developing.
Some roads and railways are likely to be affected and journeys by road or train could take longer.
The Met Office has also warned that there may be some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces, and is advising people to take care when travelling.
