People living in Felixstowe were left angry after overhead cables were left lying on the pavement by engineers.
Pictures show a number of long cables lying on the pavement near the East of England Co-op store.

One person, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: "I worked for BT for 34 years and some contractors are not working on behalf of Openreach, which might be the case here."
"Many of these contractors are just cutting corners to get the job done."
"The contractors have a total disregard for health and safety issues and rules."
It was believed by witnesses that the cables belonged to BT.
A spokesman for BT said: "We've not got any record of work taking place at this location."
