An inmate who escaped Hollesley Bay Prison last month and was on the run for three days has pleaded guilty to escaping custody.
Joshua Terry, 29, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on November 24.
During the hearing, the defendant pleaded guilty to escaping from lawful custody.
He will next appear in court for a mention hearing on December 11.
Terry was previously from the Norfolk area and was reported as missing from Hollesley Bay near Woodbridge on October 21.
He was found and arrested in Norwich three days later on October 24.
Terry is serving a two year and four-month sentence for affray, threatening a person with a blade / sharply pointed article in a public place and theft.
He has also been charged with coercive control in an intimate family relationship and sending an article of communication containing a threatening message.
