An upcoming Christmas event in a Suffolk seaside town has been cancelled just days after the closures of two restaurants in the same area.
The Beach Street Christmas Market in Felixstowe was due to take place on Thursday, December 7 between 2pm and 8pm.
Karen Stewart, organiser of the event and owner of Puzzle Boutique, said: "We have come to the difficult decision to cancel the market.
"We didn't have as many people with availability to take part in this market as we had anticipated, or to make the great atmosphere and footfall we've had at previous markets."
It is one of the many hits to the 'food and shopping hotspot' after The Viet Street Food Company and The View Smokehouse announced sudden closures earlier this week.

A Christmas craft fair organised by Manning's Market and Shops will be taking place on Saturday, December 9, starting at 10am.
The Beach Street Winter Food Festival returns from Friday, December 15 to Sunday, December 17 and will also feature a Santa's grotto and live music.
