Temperatures are expected to plummet this weekend as frost is forecast for most of Suffolk.
After weeks of heavy downpours and strong winds the county is expected to experience colder weather in the coming days.
The Met Office has said that temperatures are to fall this weekend bringing the possibilty of frosts for most of the county.
A spokesman for the Met Office said although temperatures are expected to fall the county will remain predominantly dry.
Forecasters have confirmed that no wintry showers are expected to hit Suffolk this weekend.
The spokesman said any precipitation will fall as rain on Sunday.
According to the Met Office, temperatures in areas including Newmarket, Ipswich and Felixstowe will reach 5C over the weekend.
Long range forecasts suggests cold weather will continue into December.
