Police are appealing for witnesses following a report of a road rage incident in which a vehicle was damaged.
The incident happened at about 9.40am on Wednesday in Sturmer, near Haverhill.
A blue Toyota Aygo was being driven along the A1017 Rowley Hill when a driver in a white van, possibly a Volkswagen Crafter Luton van with a tail lift at the rear, tried to overtake.
At the junction with the B1061 Water Lane, the male driver of the van pulled alongside and got out of the vehicle.

It is reported the man then punched the driver side window of the Toyota causing it to smash, before telling the driver to get out.
The driver of the Volkswagen is described as white, short and of a stocky build.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, has relevant dashcam footage or may have any information.
Anyone with information related to the incident is being urged to contact Suffolk police, quoting crime reference number 37/67711/23.
