Work is underway at a new Waterstones book shop which will open in a Suffolk town later this month.
Plans for branch in the former M&Co in North Street, Sudbury, were first submitted in October and signs appeared at the end of the month advertising it would be 'opening soon'.
On Wednesday, it was revealed that the new shop will open its doors on Thursday, November 30.
Now, work has begun on the interior of the building, which closed its doors as M&Co in April after the company entered administration last December.
Grace Barrett, manager of the new Waterstones shop, said: "My new team of booksellers can’t wait to share all the wonderful new publishing with our local community, there is nothing quite like visiting a bookshop and discovering your next favourite read."
A wide range of books and gifts will be available for customers to buy, including fiction and non-fiction titles and children's books.
The new store will be opening to 9am to 5.30pm.
Waterstones also has stores in Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich and Lowestoft.
