A collapsed road could be shut for almost a month to allow for emergency repairs to be carried out.
The Street in Aldham has been closed since Monday after the side of the road disintegrated and gave way.
Emergency closure signs were put in place, and the road is set to remain shut for the foreseeable future.
According to one.network, the road could be closed until December 19.
