Two Suffolk businesses have progressed to the national finals of the prestigious Wedding Industry Awards 2024, with the winners announced in a London-based ceremony in January.
At the start of November, the East of England regional finalists were announced, with numerous local wedding businesses recognised across the county.
Two Suffolk wedding vendors won in their categories, ensuring their place at the national finals in the new year.
Silk and Maple in Sudbury won the prize of best bridal retailer established for less than four years, and celebrated the news on their social media.
"We cannot tell you how much this award means to us," read the post.
"Being a regional finalist was incredible alone, so to go and win the thing is utterly amazing."
They were joined by another Suffolk business, The Little Horse Picture Booth, which won the category for best photo or video entertainment.
"We are overjoyed to share the incredible news that The Little Horse Picture Booth has advanced to the prestigious National Finals of the Wedding Industry Awards!" read their announcement.
"To all the couples who have entrusted us with their precious moments, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your love stories.
"Stay tuned for updates as we eagerly anticipate the results of the National Finals."
The national winners will be announced in January next year.
