Temperatures are set to plummet this week, with frost possible in parts of Suffolk.
The county has experienced a spell of settled weather after Storm Babet and Storm Ciarán caused havoc in the county.
Suffolk may now be set to see a drop in temperatures ahead of the final month of 2023.
Forecasters at the Met Office are predicting a bout of cold weather is likely to hit the county by the weekend.
"Whilst it is too early to give any indications for Christmas, some colder weather is likely for the end of the week, and into the weekend," said Helen Caughey, a Met Office deputy chief forecaster.
"There is a reasonably strong signal for lower temperatures across the UK by the weekend.
"There is a 70 per cent chance that areas as far south as southern England could experience overnight frosts and a general reduction in temperature.
"However, there is still a 30 per cent chance that the colder conditions won’t get that far south."
According to the Met Office, temperatures in areas including Newmarket, Ipswich and Felixstowe will reach 5C over the weekend.
Long range forecasts suggests cold weather will continue into December.
