A national newspaper has named a boutique hotel on the Suffolk/Essex border as one of the best places to eat a Sunday roast.
The Times has featured Suffolk restaurants in its Sunday paper before, with popular eateries such as The Ramsholt Arms and Husk making the lists.
However, a new restaurant featured in the national paper this weekend just gone, in a list of the best places to enjoy a roast dinner.
The Talbooth is a boutique spa hotel in picturesque Dedham that is owned by the Milsom Hotel Group.
However, its restaurant is hugely popular with locals and has made the list of the best Sunday lunches in the UK.
"The Sunday roast has a legendary reputation and they still use a silver carving trolley at the table," read the article.
The roast beef in particular was mentioned - the quality of which has been branded as "superb" by the national newspaper.
Talbooth responded to the news on social media, saying that they were "delighted."
Diners visiting Talbooth restaurant will have the choice of roast ribs of English beef, rump of Suffolk lamb and Dingley Dell pork T-bone.
Customers should book in advance by contacting the restaurant.
