Leiston resident goes TikTok Viral as millions see videos

Louise Church from Leiston has been filming videos around the town since early November, using a filter that changes the scene to one that is Christmas-themed.

So far, she has posted eight videos using the filter, which combined has been seen 23,948,900 times on the social media platform.

One of these alone has been viewed 19.3m times, gaining 417,000 likes.

Louise said: "I absolutely love Christmas, it takes me back to my childhood.

"My dad used to decorate the house and we used to go and look at other houses with decorations on Christmas Day.

"I put my tree up on November 1, make Christmas last longer and I buy presents in January and wrap them so there's things to put under the tree, I love it.

"I saw this filter so I tried it on a cottage behind my house and that looked amazing so I went and did it with my granddaughter and then went around town and did it on loads of different scenes."

Louise has around 40 drafts waiting to be posted using the filter, which was created by Swedish effects creator Omarito.

These are set to be uploaded throughout the festive period up until Christmas.

Louise continued: "I can't believe how popular they have been.

I was expecting a few likes, but I just posted them on my TikTok for me to see really, so I wasn't expecting it to go this far.

"It's really crazy.

"Huge creators have liked it and commented which is surreal.

"My notifications are going absolutely crazy with all the comments, likes, shares and people messaging me."

Since posting the videos earlier this month, she has gained a further 7,000 followers.
