More flooding could be possible in several Suffolk towns today after Storm Debi hit the county.
The Environment Agency has issued a warning after Stowmarket and Needham Market experienced heavy rainfall yesterday morning.
This follows on from the gusty winds yesterday which caused a tree to fall on a person's car in Woodbridge.
Since Storm Babet, homes in Needham Market have flooded consistently during the heavy rainfall.
A flood alert means that flooding is possible and the Environment Agency has recommended that those living along The Rattlesden River and River Gipping avoid walking or driving through any flood water, as it is dangerous.
A spokesman for The Met Office warned yesterday that further heavy rainfall is expected across the county today and on Thursday, accompanied by up to 41mph winds.
The steadily rising tides mean that low-lying areas, including roads and homes, could flood.
The alert was issued yesterday afternoon (November 13) and remains in place today, but it is not yet clear how long for.
