A mobile post office will launch in a village in a bid to restore service after its branch closed.
Mobile services will begin next week in Elmsett, near Hadleigh, after the branch there shut on November 3 following the resignation of the postmaster.
This will operate every Tuesday from 12.30pm to 1.30pm at the Rose & Crown Public House car park, The Street, Elmsett, and will be provided by the Postmaster for Cliff Lane from Tuesday, November 14.
A Post Office spokesperson said: "A mobile Post Office is a tried and tested way to serve rural communities.
"The temporary mobile service presents the best possible solution to restore Post Office services to the local community, whilst we seek a permanent solution."
To allow for the service to visit Elmsett, there will be changes to the current opening hours of the mobile services at Layham and Wattisham Airfield, which will also take effect from Tuesday.
Layham Mobile Service at Brett Green will now open from 11am to 12pm while Wattisham Airfield Mobile Service will run from 2pm to 4pm.
