Several Suffolk roads will be closing for the day after Suffolk Highways announced a series of emergency work across the county. 

Drivers will face a series of diversions on Friday as potholes, roads and drainage issues are set to be fixed between 9.30am and 3.30pm today. 

Here are the road closures with the diversion routes:

Tuddenham Avenue, Ipswich

The street will be closed between 10am and 3pm for road repairs. 

The diversion will take drivers to Suffolk Road, Hervey Street, Tuddenham Road, and vice versa.

Wattisfield Road, Thelnetham, to Bobby Hill, Wattisfield

Pothole repairs will take place along this road from 9.30am to 3.30pm. 

The diversion route travels along Wattisfield Road, Hinderclay Road, A143, and vice versa.

Butts Road and Playford Road, Playford

Parts of these roads will be closed between 10am and 3pm for pothole repairs.

Drivers will be redirected along the C330, C324, C325, C328, and vice versa.

The Street, Easton

The road will be closed from Framlingham Road to School Lane between 10.30am and 2pm for drainage clearance.

The diversion route passes along The Street, Hacheston Road, Easton Lane, B1116, Dark Lane, Framlingham Road, and vice versa.
