The very best of Suffolk’s education sector were recognised on Thursday night at the inaugural East Anglian Daily Times Suffolk Education Awards 2023.
From Teacher of the Year to The Wellbeing Award, the Suffolk Education Awards were a chance to celebrate our county’s dedicated education sector and give the teams, individuals and students the recognition they so rightfully deserve.
The awards were held at Venue 16, Ipswich on Thursday, November 9 and winners were recognised across 10 categories encompassing the entirety of the sector - see the full list below.
“There is no doubt that these individuals and schools deserve the recognition. They’ve worked tirelessly over the last few years in the toughest of circumstances, ensuring students were able to continue learning throughout the Covid lockdowns and supporting them on their return to the classroom and beyond,” said Liz Nice, editor of the East Anglian Daily Times.
These awards couldn’t take place without the support of our headline sponsor University of Suffolk and all of our category sponsors and we are hugely grateful to them.
Professor Helen Langton at University of Suffolk said: “The awards are a fantastic opportunity to showcase the brilliant work our county’s education providers and individuals are doing to help young people succeed. This is vital work for the future benefit of our county.”
