A Suffolk restaurant is about to launch a Christmas menu with a twist as they slalom into the winter season.
Gastrono-me in Bury St Edmunds has announced a new menu that diners will be able to enjoy at the restaurant between November 16 and January 9.
An après ski-inspired menu featuring warming tipples and three courses of hot and indulgent food has proven popular, with spaces already limited at the restaurant on Angel Hill.
"Tis the ski-son" reads the festive website.
"Think twinkling lights and champagne toasts with friends, warm skillets of deliciousness and spiced toddies to make you feel like you’re at a cosy ski lodge in Aspen."

The menu includes a French onion soup and a baked camembert with fondue bites to start, truffled mushroom macaroni cheese and a range of themed burgers for mains, and sticky toffee pudding and brownie for dessert.
There is also a dish named Last Christmas I Gave You My Fries, which is a portion of fries covered in pulled pork and pigs in blankets, stuffing balls, brie bites and smothered in gravy.
Two courses will cost diners £27.95 and three courses, £34.95.
Those interested should book as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
