Thousands of people will gather across Suffolk to bow their heads in remembrance of fallen soldiers. 

Councils across the county have planned services on Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday this weekend. 

Here is a full list of road closures that will be in place for the services.

Bury St Edmunds

Angel Hill, Chequer Square, and Crown Street will be closed on Sunday, November 12 from 10am until 2pm.

Parking will be suspended in these areas, along with the layby in Honey Hill, from 6pm on Saturday, November 11 until 2pm on Sunday. 

Woodbridge

Station Road, Angel Lane, Market Hill, and Theatre Street will all be closed between 10am and 11.30am on Friday, November 10. 

The same roads will be closed between 10am and 12.15pm on November 12. 

Sudbury 

A mobile closure will be in place on November 12 between 1.45pm until 4.30pm. 

The affected roads will be East Street, Market Hill, Gainsborough Street, Gregory Street, Church Walk, and North Street. 

Stowmarket

Ipswich Road, Ipswich Street, Station Road West, Market Place, Tavern Street, and Finborough Road will all be closed from 8am until 11.15am on November 12.

These are all mobile closures, except on Finborough Road which will be a mobile and static closure.

Ipswich 

Elm Street, Museum Street, Westgate Street, Corn Hill, Tavern Street, Northgate Street, Upper Brook Street, A1156, and Soane Street will be closed on November 12 for the Remembrance Parade.

There will be no road closures on November 11.

Aldeburgh

Market Cross Place, Victoria Road, and Crabbe Street will be closed between 10.15am and 12.45pm on November 12. 

Southwold

Victoria Street, St James Green, East Cliff, and High Street will be shut on November 12 between 10.15am and 12.45pm.

Haverhill

Withersfield Road will be closed between 1.30pm and 4pm on November 12. 

Newmarket

Palace Street and High Street will be closed for a Remembrance parade on November 12 between 2pm and 3pm.
