Suffolk is set to be hit by more heavy rainfall just days after Storm Ciarán.
The Met Office has said that torrential downpours are expected to sweep across the country this week as Storm Debi hits.
Although Suffolk is not expected to be as a badly hit as other parts of the country heavy rainfall is forecast for parts of the county on Wednesday and Thursday.
It is not expected to be as heavy as the rainfall during Storm Ciarán but the Met Office has warned that flooding may still occur.
Graham Medge, a spokesman for the Met Office said due to parts of the region having experienced severe impacts recently catchments will remain sensitive to further rainfall for the immediate future.
It comes after the county was battered by strong winds and heavy downpours during Storm Ciarán last week.
A number of roads were flooded and almost 90 schools were forced to close as a result of the bad weather.
