A Suffolk pub has unveiled plans for a cosy Christmas meal experience - with a twist.

The Packhorse Inn in Moulton is the founding father of The Chestnut Group, an award-winning pub family based in East Anglia.

It was announced earlier this year that The Packhorse Inn would have £1 million of investment to extend the pub's kitchen and restaurant.

Another extension to the dining experience has been announced for this winter, with a cosy twist that will leave customers delighted.

From November 23, a winter tipi will be available to diners looking to enjoy a meal at the popular pub.

Kitted out with a log burner, fairy lights and faux furry blankets, this cosy experience is also bookable for larger groups or couples looking to book a table for a meal.

The pub has also announced a Highland Park supper for December 7.

Diners will enjoy a specially curated menu with courses paired with Whisky and will be held in the Club Room, hosted by Joseph Ellis, a Whisky specialist.

The cost is £60 per guest with places available to book by contacting The Packhorse.
