These dramatic pictures have captured the moment a bin lorry got stuck in a large sink hole.
Fairfield Hill in Stowmarket was closed by police after the vehicle got trapped in the hole on Monday morning.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said officers were called after receiving reports that the road had given way.
Photos captured by Julie Deer showed the back wheel of the bin lorry trapped inside the sinkhole.
The hole is one metre by one metre and around one metre deep, the police spokesman said.
