The festive season has begun and we are counting down the days until Christmas Day.
Suffolk is getting ready to celebrate by lighting up the high streets with an array of colourful and shining lights.
Here are all of the major Christmas light switch on events taking place in Suffolk.
1. Bury St Edmunds
When: Wednesday, November 16
Where: arc shopping centre, Prospect Row, Bury St Edmunds IP33 3DG
Charter Square will light up brighter than before at this event in Bury St Edmunds.
Cheeky elves and fairies on stilts will join in to spread the Christmas cheer by handing out small gift cards to be spent at some of the stores in the arc.
The event starts at 3pm, with the new Christmas lights being switched on from 4pm.

2. Newmarket
When: Friday, November 17
Where: High Street, Newmarket CB8 9AF
The high street will transform into a fun fair of magic with rides, meet and greets with superheroes, and performances from local talents.
Performers include the children of Fairstead School, a dance act from Vogue Athletics, and the winner of Newmarket's Got Talent.
The event starts at 4.30pm, with the light switch on at 7pm.
3. Ipswich
When: Thursday, November 23
Where: The Cornhill, Ipswich IP1 1DH
Lynne Mortimer, Ipswich mayor, will be joined by the cast of the Ipswich Regent Theatre pantomime to turn on the Christmas lights.
BBC Radio Suffolk presenters Wayne Bavin and Sarah Lilley will host the event.
It starts at 5pm and will end at 7pm.

4. Stowmarket
When: Thursday, November 23
Where: Stowmarket town centre IP14 1ES
The Thursday Market will host food traders, festive music and the inviting aroma of mulled wine.
As night falls, the town centre will illuminate with Christmas lights and a sparkling Christmas tree.
It marks the start of the festive events taking place in Stowmarket this year.
5. Sudbury
When: Friday, November 24
Where: Old Market Place, Sudbury CO10 1TL
With live music and carols, and more than 70 stalls offering crafts and refreshments, save the date for one of the 'biggest and brightest' Christmas light switch on events.
There will also be street entertainers to enjoy whilst you admire the lights.
The event will run from 5pm until 9pm.
