From coastal towns to areas of outstanding natural beauty, Suffolk is home to a number of scenic places.
A local estate agent has chosen most idyllic locations in the county.
Alexander McNab, part of the residential sales team at Savills in Suffolk, said: “We’re very lucky in this part of the world to have so many scenic places, you could choose somewhere different to visit every weekend and never be disappointed.
"From the Dedham Vale in the south to the River Waveney and Broads in the north – you really can’t go too far wrong wherever you are.
"The Suffolk Coast and Heaths AONB is an obvious favourite with many people. Personally, I think the area around Dunwich and Westleton is very pretty, particularly when the heather is in full bloom.
"There are some lovely walks and very good pubs. But then you also have the likes of Upper Hollesley Common and Sutton Heath, which are perhaps not quite as well-known but equally as stunning.
"A little further west the strip of villages just north of Sudbury – Lavenham, Cavendish and Clare – are surrounded by beautiful countryside but also very pretty in their own right, with some lovely historic buildings and lots of green space.”
