Part of the A12 in Suffolk was closed as emergency services were called to an overturned lorry.
Police were alerted to the overturned lorry near Capel St Mary in the southbound carriageway at about 7.10am on Thursday.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said officers were at the scene but the incident will be taken over by National Highways.
The road has now reopened.
According to the AA Traffic Map there were severe delays in the area.
The incident comes as Suffolk has been battered by Storm Ciarán on Thursday.
