The £100,000 winner from Suffolk is not the only person celebrating a Premium Bonds prize, run by National Savings and Investments (NS&I), this year.
In October, a resident who had just £25 in bonds won the £100,000 prize draw.
Jill Waters, NS&I retail director, said: "Premium Bonds are a fun way to start saving.
"Customers are in with the chance of winning any one of our more than 4.9million prizes."
