A man has been taken to hospital after an incident in a Suffolk town.
A police cordon was spotted in Pageant Field, in Badingham Road in Framlingham, on Thursday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police confirmed that officers and paramedics were called to a report of concern for safety in relation to a man found in the town at about 3.40pm.
A man was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains, the spokesman confirmed.
The air ambulance was also called to the incident.
One resident, who did not wished to be named, said: "I was in a different part of Framlingham and at about 3.45pm I heard sirens coming into Framlingham.
"By about 4.15pm there were three police cars on one side and there were other officers on the field."
