It has been six months since the last M&Co store closed its doors to Suffolk retailers.
After the fashion chain fell into administration, the company's former premises have left an empty hole in the high street.
However, plans are now afoot for new businesses to move into the sites.
Here is what is happening with the former M&Co stores in Suffolk.
Woodbridge
The Woodbridge branch in the town's Thoroughfare closed its doors for the last time on April 4.
A store spokesman paid tribute to their customers in an emotional social media post at the time, thanking them for their support.
Opticians Specsavers has confirmed it will move into the former M&Co after 13 years at its previous premises in Framlingham.
Victoria Robins, ophthalmic director of the Woodbridge store, said: "We’ve been on the High Street for over 13 years and we pride ourselves on serving the community of Woodbridge.
"We love taking care of the residents of Woodbridge, but we wanted to do more and with the space in our old store, that simply wasn’t possible.
Sudbury
The Sudbury M&Co branch was one of the last to shut in Suffolk.
Proposals have since been submitted to turn the North Street store into a Waterstones book shop.
It would become the fourth Waterstones in Suffolk if plans are given the go-ahead.
Stowmarket
Stowmarket's M&Co store in Ipswich Street closed on April 13.
In a post on social media, a spokesman said: "We want to say a massive thank you to all our customers for your loyalty & support over the years."
The future of the premises is still unclear, with the store still up for rent.
Haverhill
M&Co closed in Haverhill High Street in April and the building is still empty.
A social media post from staff said they were "grateful for loyal years of custom".
The future of the premises remains unclear.
Beccles
Having shut on April 5, the former M&Co branch in Beccles remains unfilled.
Its future is also currently unclear.
