A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a string of burglaries in east Suffolk.
Detectives have been investigating nine burglaries and attempted burglaries which have taken place since September 12 in and around the Southwold area.
Seven incidents were reported to have taken place in Southwold, while one was in Wenhaston and one in Westleton.
Business premises and dwellings have been targeted, with items stolen including electric bikes, power tools, electrical items and cash.
A 28-year-old man, from the Southwold area, has been arrested in connection with four incidents.
He has been released on bail until Friday, December 8, pending further enquiries.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said: "Officers continue to appeal to members of the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
"Residents and businesses are advised do all they can to keep their sheds and outbuildings secure."
Anyone with further information related to the burglaries is being asked to contact Suffolk police on 101.
